alive and well, deep in the heart of texas

hiya. i'm here, and getting settled in. the internet was installed the day after we arrived, but apparently it was installed incorrectly. darn cable guys. luckily, i made friends with a guy here who happens to have an IT degree. WOOT for computer people! so, i'm online and am trying to catch up on emails and reading my blogs..... man, i've missed you guys.

i will blog this weekend about all things austin, and will post pics to share as well. all i'll say right now, is that i feel i made the right choice by moving to austin. i've already seen some live music that has rocked my face off, and everyone is so freakin' friendly. traffic sucks balls, but other than that --- i'm lovin' this place.

right now, i'm going to get some sleep.... i have a very promising interview tomorrow.... HALLELUJAH! this girl needs a J-O-B and fast.
