well, i never thought it would happen.... but i'm officially in love.....
....with a gadget.
you may think i've been living in the dark ages, but i JUST GOT a tivo. (well, ok - not even a "tivo," technically.) but i do now have a DVR and i'm seriously addicted. i came home tonight after work and got to watch a couple of shows i would've either missed, or had to fuss with a VCR to record them. nope-- i just hit a couple of buttons AAND i can easily fast forward through all the commercials. most of you have had one for a while, so think back and remember how giddy you were the first couple of weeks with it. are you there yet? yeah, it's a good place to be, isn't it?? i never have to miss the really important shows like The Contender (have you SEEN this show? i'm a total addict), desperate housewives, or fear factor. holy crap, this is the best. invention. EVER.
