friday - w00t!
hello, and happy friday!
so, as i have mentioned before, i park about 2 blocks away from my work building. yesterday, i walk outside and find it POURING down rain. red = doesn't watch the weather report and didn't know God was planning on flooding the downtown area = no umbrella. not really much i can do, so i roll my pants up to try to avoid too much wetness. yeah, there was no avoiding it. the first intersection had standing water about 8 inches deep. nice. by the time i got to my car, i looked like this. i also left my windows cracked about a half inch as i always do, and the entire inside of my car looked like this. ugh. rain, rain go away.
dinner with my girlfriend was fun - we caught up on a lot of things, and laughed a lot. always fun. when i got home, there was a minivan in the driveway that i didn't recognize. my cousin, jaquetta was over with her 2.5 kids. (jaquetta is not her real name - but we've called her that since high school.) anyway, her kids are adorable, and love them some Red. haylee is in kindergarden, and is learning to write fairly decent. here is a picture she drew for me. lol. i love kids' artwork.
they left, after much playing, and many hugs and kisses. i heart kids. especially ones that leave at the end of the night. :)
have a great weekend!
