home is where the heart is

my brother-in-law came home yesterday. he's been in iraq since last summer and we were all ready to have him home. (especially my sister!) his whole unit was flying in, so the airport waiting area was filled with american flags, welcome home signs, and people wall to wall. when they started walking down the terminal, everyone was clapping and cheering..... it was so awesome! i, of course, was teary-eyed at the sight of them walking down the terminal. they only lost 2 men, but they were who i thought about. on the other hand, i am so thankful that my sister's husband is home and in tact. she was just glowing yesterday, and i know she is super thrilled to have him home for good! here's to hoping all the boys (and girls) get to come home soon......
