new tunes

i have recently purchased a CD, and i am fairly positive that this will be my new favorite for a while. i initially bought it because one song is featured in the movie, "closer." when i first heard the song while watching the movie in the theatre - i made a mental note to at least buy the soundtrack. i have heard a little buzz about him, so i decided just to buy his CD - and i am so glad i did. the music is real - very emotional. the song featured in the movie is titled "the blower's daughter" and it seriously puts me in a trance. it is incredibly beautiful, and so raw and it's really quite sad. maybe it's not your type of music - but if you're curious- check it out. he has mp3's you can listen to online at his website. i need to date a musician in the worst way.
