at work.

omg, i haven't been this busy in Lord knows how long. yes i do.... it was this time last year. ugh. october through december is why they even pay me to work here. the rest of the year, i can pretty much slack off and it doesn't do any harm.

quick update:

worked friday night. saturday, had day of fun with my girlfriend. we saw "shall we dance" and saw it for FREE because i used movie ticket coupons that i got for my birthday from a fabulously thoughtful person. LOVED IT. it is a great flick.... especially if you've ever danced. we went shopping for some new duds, and then got ready for the night out. dinner was awesome -- got to see a lot of people i haven't seen in a while .... and i didn't have to pay for a single thing! WOOT! we went out afterwards and had mucho fun. went dancing, and ran into an army of latin men. anyone who knows me, knows i can't resist a man with an accent. i spoke spanish most of the night, and was surprised at how much came back to me. i was ramblin like i was from venezuela! sunday was spent recovering.... and then i've just been working. not very exciting, i know. i have stayed late every night this week and that will probably be the story of my life for the next couple of months. BUT, i will do a much better job with the ol' blog.

i have some pics, but will have to download and post them later. also, i will be gone tomorrow to a work retreat with my wife, so i will not be posting. we are going out that evening, so i should have pictures and all that jazz. speaking of all that jazz...... i am going to see the broadway production of Chicago! saturday night. should be fun!! have a great weekend...
