bad, bad, bad redhead.
so, i know i totally suck at updating right now. the good news is that i have an interview tomorrow that i feel fairly good about -- so let's hope i get it. it's a desk job, back in corporate america, and will allow me to be at a PC most of the day. that means regular blogging - yay!
there is so much to catch up on, so i'll give you the brief highlights. for starters, i am still loving austin. there is so much to do here, and i'm meeting some really great people. i am still working at the restaurant, but as mentioned above - have a job interview tomorrow and some other things in the works. as much as i love being a server and having relatively no responsibility, it's time for me to get a "real" job. one with benefits and all that jazz we grown ups kinda need.
ummmmmm, i just got back from spending the weekend in new york city. WOW. what a freaking experience. i can totally see how people fall in love with that city. i found myself a bit sad when i had to leave..... of course, i was only there for 4 days, so maybe i didn't have time to do anything but fall in love with the sights and sounds of the sleepless city. i went to see the statue of liberty and all the other "touristy" things, but i also got a chance to just walk around and experience new york for the much less hyped up things. you can view a few pictures here if you're interested.
other than that, there's not a whole lot that's happened that is exciting to talk about. i was dating a guy and that lasted about a month. if i would've blogged about it initially, it would've went something like this: "i just met this guy, and from what i know of him.... he is AMAZING. wow. he's a bit older, has his stuff together, and is super sweet to me. only time will tell, but for now - he's great!"
now, it sounds something like this: "yeah, he's pretty much as stupid as the other men i've dated."
so, i really, honestly will try to be better about blogging. keep your fingers crossed for me that i get this job -- or another one equally as good -- soon!! miss you all, and hope to%
